Precinct Meeting Update

Received an e-mail from a source today.  Sent me a copy of an e-mail sent to them by a certain individual with ties to a certain group.

Seems the e-mail is encouraging potential supporters to show up to back the sender for precinct chair in 5 (the Neck) and also encouraging people to show up to make sure that the groups supporters are elected to town meeting (remember a bunch of ties in some of the precincts.

The e-mail even notes the importance of showing up to get the right precinct captains elected so the groups supporters can be appointed to the finance committee.

It is certainly everyone's right to campaign and support those they feel will vote the way you want them to.

Thankfully the last election did away with machine politics.

Imagine what tonight might be like if it hadn't?

I do love change.  Just wish it didn't seem to mirror the past that was complained of.
