Rainy Days and Mondays, Again!

I am not to sure why I am having a bit of writer's block this morning. I actually received several suggestions for "ideas" for today's blog. I do appreciate suggestions.  Just don't use them all.

One I will use is the fact that at 7:30 P.M. tonight there will be a piece on channel 5 relative to a visit to our town, highlighting what I have been told are some of the positive aspects of town.  So if  you are not inclined to deal with the newest episodes for epic sagas which will encompass a large span of evening television starting at 6:30 P.M. (which rumor has it are being shopped around as a made for t.v. movie), or feel you need to do some channel surfing,  there you go.

NOTE: If you want more details, hit the various "Fairhaven" sites one Facebook.  Also the Channel 5 "Chronicle" page.

Sorry folks, but I will be doing one of three things at 7:30 P.M.,  either sitting in the Town Hall Banquet Room listening, on the couch in the den tuned into channel 18, or on the couch in the den with the television tuned into channel 18 and snoring.

Hopefully I have enough energy to deal with the energy lineup for tonight's select board meeting (three scheduled meetings relating to energy in some form or another).

The best seat might be in the den though.  At least for the later part of the meeting.  One of the two groups in town is rallying for people to show up, and I am guessing the other group will also have people there.  With the other items on the packed agenda, there could be a packed house.

All this activity promises an interesting political scene for the foreseeable future.  Although as of right now, what I can foresee doesn't encompass any extended period of time.  The momentum pendulum seems to once again be swinging in another direction, still way too early though to how big an arc it will create.

What's kind of interesting is reading the various posts you see on social media and the complaints from people on both sides about the press coverage, or lack thereof on the issues.   Shouldn't need to say anything more on that one.

Anyway, I think I won't be saying anything more on stuff today.  I am sure there will be plenty for tomorrow, assuming I can stay awake.

Be safe.
