Another day late

Well talk about a messed up forecast for yesterday.

Interesting article in the local daily the other day about the vacant store (formerly Shaw's).  Will it ever see a new tenant?  Who really knows?  Retail stores in any form right now are a difficult prospect.  Is there enough business in the area for another supermarket to replace the former one?  Questionable at best I think. Maybe a specialty one.

I also liked the piece I read somewhere about the timing of the traffic lights.  Seem to be off at multiple intersections.  The one at Green and Route 6 is ridiculous at peak times, not to mention elsewhere along the busy sections. Of course it would help if people stopped at the red light didn't take it as a signal to start using the cell phone.

In a twist on "the first in line" saying, why is it that more people at the head of the traffic signal seem to be the last one to notice the signal has changed?

In another wist, the morning weather is shaping up to be a perfect one. Day late and dollar short, even it a dollar isn't worth what is use to be.

Nothing seemingly earth shattering looming on the horizon, although I am sure there are some mountains out there to be created out of mole hills.

Hard to get into a working mood, or worked up this morning.  Tempted to play hooky, however reality is blocking temptation today.

Fortunately reality is going to get in the way of a bunch of temptations for the day.

Anyway ... each day is another step in the journey along the path to somewhere, or so I have heard.
