Is Garbage Day Significant?

Well it has been a few days.  Most of them being spent in mostly intentional ignorance relative to things happening in town, amiable or otherwise.  Don't get me wrong, I have been scanning the headlines and posts. Thus the use of the word "mostly" rather than "complete".

I did completely miss last night's selectmen's meeting.  I just simply didn't have it in me to spend the time watching what I presume was a long meeting, based on the posted agenda.  So any significant tidbits you may have caught, let me know.

Significant is a very good word.  Everything that happens has some significance for someone, somewhere, don't you think?

It seems some of you feel there is some significance to my break from habit.  If in fact there is any significance to it, rest assured that it should be a truly insignificant matter to everyone but me.  Truth be told, the "break" began a little less than a month ago. There is nothing more to it than a combination of a lack of time and a waning desire to find the time.

What's the old saying, timing is everything.  Well timing things out as of late has meant that everything can't get done.  As we all know life is about priorities, at least one the individual level. when push comes to shove, something has got to give, and in this case it was a daily habit.

So there it is.  No great exercise in self-restraint about commenting on any issue or topic.  There are often extreme examples of that capacity when I do blog. Keeping quiet is actually an easy thing to do.

No personal belief that all is well in the universe, the bizarro version or otherwise. Why would I try to sell a bill of goods no one is going to buy.

Just chalk it up to simply not having time.

As insignificant as the above may be, it is all there is for today.

Be safe.

  1. The workplace has breaks,so why not the blogger.Sometimes we run out of things to say or would rather not comment on things. The blog readers are an important source of feedback an without them some blogs just fail. This blog keeps the casual townie informed without getting complicated. Like the man says In your face...
