A Gem of a Day, is it a Ruby Tuesday?

Okay. Town Meeting members should start getting the special and annual warrants in the mail this week.  If you aren't a member or want a sneak preview you can check out the town website and review the "News & Events" listings for the links to the warrants.  Apparently the fin com book is on there too.

Anyway, be expecting some revisions come May 3rd.  Hopefully all the changes'proposed changes will be made available to those who attend the precinct meetings on April 30th.  The individual precincts meet at 6:30 P.M. and the T.M.M. review takes place at 7:00 P.M.

Always some debate about holding all the precinct meetings on the same night.  Pluses and minuses to every method, however the more recent method of presentation seems to be working fairly well. The 7:00 P.M. dress rehearsal as I call it has now become must more focused toward a more proper Q and A session rather than pre town meeting debate session.

This is the session to get your questions answered or at least addressed.  Still gives you and officials time to get more information if needed.  Waiting until T.M. day to want answers is not in anyone's interest.  Look at the warrants, ask now.  Call someone up.  Be prepared, or as prepared as reasonably possible.

Step lively. Less than two weeks to post time.

There is always a point in the annual rites of spring relative to TM when the waves of the stormy seas of that accompany budget season begin to calm.  The point is reached where essentially the course is set.  You have done all that needs or can be done More often what can be done rather than needs to be done unfortunately), and now it is time to simply grab hold and ride it out.

To use what has been described as a truly irritating phrase, you know it will be what it will be...and it will.

Indecision has left the room and any further debate becomes simply a matter of exercise, until the debate hits the floor that is. My real point, at this point in time you best know what you want to accomplish, where you are going with your proposal and how you intend to get there.

I would be interested in hearing opinions on the articles to be presented.  So add your voice to the choir after you have reviewed the sheet music.

Anyway ... just some ramblings on a beautiful Tuesday morning.

Be safe.
