Friday's nearly forgotten post

Well seems the reports are in about the newest turf skirmish. Well at least conflicting reports.  Was able to catch the tail end of the tall grass saga for the former buildings.

Someone noted this is why we need a TA in a comment to the prior post addressing the topic.  I agree that this would be an example of a matter that would be handled by a TA, without board intervention (or I should say the need for board intervention).  Of course whether that need existed here is debatable also.

It is what it is.  Along with posting a sign or two for no trespassing, increased police patrols to keep kids off the roof, and other stuff.

Enough about grass ... well maybe not forever ... I am sure we will continue to hash out the problem of how to deal with the plants and weeds; to deal with the bush and twigs, and to keep the property from going to seed.

Moving on ...

Jefferson is credited with saying that a Democracy cannot be both ignorant and free.  Jefferson would probably be of the same opinion if he lived today ... however he might be wondering how long we can continue to live on life support.

I am not going to get into a long dissertation on the big picture. I am not because that big picture no longer exists. Not on any consistent basis and certainly it is never seemingly viewed when trying to apply certain principals to favorite causes.

Anyway ...

After a few days off from blogging this isn't much of one to start up with again.  Not sure whether is is a "what's the point" mental block or just what is the point anymore.  A whole lot of things are in limbo right now.  Reports/studies needed to be completed, action from Boston on certain matters being waited upon with bated breath.

Everything seems to need a report, a consultant, a study committee. Consensus is a wonderful thing.  It is.

The problem is that in order to build a consensus on anything, every one has to be working with the same concept of reality.

Actually, I am going to leave it there for today.

Be safe.
