Jagged Edge?

It has been extremely difficult focusing on a piece to do.  Part of that difficulty is finding something to write about that is timely to events and that also doesn't end up being a bit too early for exposure; and, actually is worth the time to write about.

So I have ended up wasting a whole lot of time on multiple pieces that have ended up in the trash bin. Let's take another stab it it and hope for the best.

Most pressing issue of the day? Would depend on who you spoke with, wouldn't it? Newest issue of the moment, see previous words.

Some people feel what we need to do with the old school buildings in paramount. that group is really divided into two factions, because let us face the reality of the geography of our fair haven. For one of those buildings most of the caring, what little there was to start with, ended the minute you took that bell down.

With five candidates running for office, with the winner most definitely to be in place come the time T.M. has to deal with the "decision", perhaps each of the five can enlighten us all on their position. Be a good start for educating the voters, wouldn't it?

Should not be too be hard for a group touting their involvement, knowledge, and abilities to lead.

Personally, I would love to hear the proposals from the five.  You are definitely going to get that from the incumbent.  No option to sit back at this point.  The challengers?  Well, doubtful you will hear any pipe up.  Criticisms, most definitely.  Piping up, another story.

Anyway ...

Good news ... which I alluded to previously, I think. Might have been a writing in one of the unpublished pieces.  There is good news though.

Bucket loads of free cash filling the projected empty buckets.  It is a surprise on paper.  It is always a surprise on paper.

There will be little surprise coming forth relative to proposals to spending it.  Lots of people are going to be wanting it.

What you shouldn't do with the money, well that should be obvious to all the knowledgeable ones out there.

This really has the potential to be a very interesting period for our fair haven.  New TA for a remaining lateral structure.  Sorry, but no pyramid quite yet, is there. Maybe a slight jag in the line.

While you can at times make a mountain out of a molehill, not sure how you replicate one of the seven wonders from what we got.

We are fortunate enough to have a healthly cash flow.  Should enable to new person to get up and running without too many budget issues, subject to how many people have their hands out.

Positively mind boggling in a way.

And while you may be tired reading about it, the potential of a five person race for the office of selectman.  I am absolutely giddy with anticipation.

Let'snot forget the fact there will be an open school committee seat too.

Heck, who knows, we could also end up with contested races for other spots.

Might even be a push to get the BPW question on the ballot again.  With three candidates who formulated that little issue as part of the component for the 90% good enough TA article, you would think at least one of them would be trying to make hay out of it.

Wonder if that 90% rating still applies. What do you think?

As far as the BPW goes, something is going to have to give there or in the vaulted TA article.  I am not sure that board realizes the reduction in some power the TA article created.  The less than stellar article though is going to contribute to the conflicts, and exacerbate existing turf wars.  But it is what it is, and it was decided it was good enough, so we live with that decision, for the time being anyway.

Speaking of the time being, it is time to get a move on, and that means until next time.
