A day late and what happens when you forget to click the publish button

Okay, show which show do we want to preview?

The annual extravaganza know as Town Meeting is next Saturday. The soft-opening is next Wednesday (precinct meetings and Town Meeting preview), and there is a Board of Selectmen meeting for Monday.

Now the selectmen get somewhat of a break with the pass over expected for the used car/boat repair/sales zoning thingy that was to be submitted to Town Meeting. Not so much of a break will be the former school articles.

No matter what happens with the Oxford site proposal, we are being asked to wade further into the money pit relative to at least the Roger's school site. Another consultant to the tune of $33,000.00. Another $8,000.00 for both sites for another year of costs in keeping the sites as is.

All is good right? History is priceless.

Now we are definitely in for a learning curve on a few other matters. Skimming over the warrant. I see a few interesting Town charges being sought in the STM.  Could be there is an explanation out there somewhere. Could be at some point I will look for it too. Could also be it might be worth a high curiosity rating to just sit back and see if there is any other, shall we say, questioning mind.

Anyway ... definitely some interesting tidbits.

More interesting to me will be how the BPW seat gets filled.  If you look at the agenda, you will see the candidates. Rumors mill was pretty accurate. Well, completely accurate actually.

Be interesting to see just what form of political payback the payback is paid with.

Absent the disclosure of a complete epiphany, and quite frankly a public admission that the proposed dismantling of the existing BPW structure and proposed replacement structure were wrong, not sure how one of the persons seeking the seat should be appointed.

You ain't ever going to convince me however that should should be appointing an individual to a board who essentially led the movement to dismantle the board.

But I don't get a vote. I won't be shocked by any outcome on this one. Especially given the dynamics of the election just past.

And if the rest of the rumor mill is half as accurate about what is going on here, this one could be a sub-plot in, well pick your political intrigue show.
